National Show 2017
POINTS MEAN MORE PRIZES FOR BLUEGRASS!

Daw have been awarded the Premier Exhibitor and Premier Breeder
trophies following our 2017 National Show at The Dairy Show,
The Bluegrass Herd were consistently successful
throughout the day with females exhibited by their new owners
also flying the flag well for the family, particularly Bluegrass
Coltons Lady Sunshine who took Reserve Overall Champion for
AH Wilson & Son.
The Jersey Cattle Society of the United Kingdom are delighted
to announce a new showcase for the Jersey breed.
Our National Show will take place on Wednesday 4th October
2017 at The Dairy Show, kindly hosted by the Royal Bath & West
of England Society.

welcome the National Jersey Show to the Dairy Show. Jersey
classes have always been strong at Dairy Show, and we look
forward to welcoming Jersey Exhibitors old and new to the Showground
Classes will be held for calves and showmanship on the evening
of Tuesday 3rd with a full range of Jersey classes the following
We are thrilled to welcome Robert Jarrell of RJF Jerseys to
judge this prestigious event. Robert and his wife April, along
with their three children Bobby, Jackie and Donnie hail from
RJ Farms, Ontario, Canada.
RJF Jerseys were awarded the Master Breeder Herd shield in
2008 and have developed many All Canadian, Star Brood Cows
and Champion Show Cows. Robert was awarded Champion Cow at
the World Dairy Expo as well as Junior Champion at Louisville,
Kentucky and All American Junior Herd 2008. He has proudly
won numerous Premier Breeder and Exhibitor banners at many
major shows in Ontario.
Robert and his family are very involved right across the Jersey
committees of Canada. We are honoured that Robert has accepted
our invitation to judge and are very excited to present to
him the quality of Jersey cattle in the UK.
